A brave driver survived yet another distressing uncontrollable acceleration incident by bailing out of her speeding car. Twenty-five-year-old New Hampshire native Rebecca Storm tells George Stephanopoulos all about her wild ride on today's edition of 'Good Morning America.' Rebecca was on the highway when her Honda Civic began "accelerating out of control."
"I put two feet onto the brakes, I pulled the emergency brake, I put on my hazards, I was honking my horn," Storm recalls. With little else to do to slow the vehicle, Rebecca even asked the 911 operator "Should I get into an accident?" Of course, they advised against such a maneuver. However, Storm did eventually decide to run her car into a light pole, tucking and rolling at the last moment. "I just have some bumps and bruises," she explains, "I'll need some dental work, but that's about it. I'm very fortunate."
