Regis and Kelly get philosophical as they discuss mankind's universal hatred of Mondays on this morning's 'Live.' "I still can't sleep on Sunday night. I can't do it! Ever since I was a kid," Regis laments. Kelly says she can totally empathize with the seemingly unavoidable feeling of dread. "And I relate to my kids, cause even though my kids all love school. Like, they don't mind going... they work hard," Kelly explains, "But they still Sunday night get the dread, and I go into it with them."

Regis calls it "the heebie jeebies," and he can't quite understand why, even though Kelly's kids like school, they get the heebie jeebies too. "It's human nature, I think," Kelly hypothesizes, "It's thousands of years of evolution, we are born to be melancholy on Sunday nights." Even when she gets a Monday off, "I still get sad on Sunday night," Kelly explains.
