A 12-acre brush fire may have been sparked by a golfer who was struggling to find the fairway. 'Morning Express' sports anchor Rafer Weigel examines the bizarre wildfire believed to be sparked by a golf club. "My jaw hit the floor when I heard this," Rafer explains, "Firefighters battled this fire for 7 hours. It happened just outside of Irvine, California. An Orange County fire official told us that the fire was likely sparked when a golfer chipped a rock, trying to hit his ball out of a bone dry rough."
'Morning Express' flashes up a few photos of yesterday's fire as Weigel explains that 150 to 200 firefighters were called in to battle the blaze. "Fortunately, none of the multimillion dollar homes nearby were threatened and no charges have been filed against the golfer," Rafer reports.
