Make tonight a movie night! Today only (Friday, Sept. 3), participating AMC Theatres are offering a free fountain drink when you purchase any size popcorn. All you have to do is "like" the AMC Theatres Facebook Page and click on the "FREE Drink" tab. After you enter your basic information (email, birthday and zip code), check your inbox for an email containing the coupon (it took about an hour to arrive in ours). You'll be subscribing for AMC's newsletter, but you can opt out after you get the coupon.

Although I'd love to get a free drink, the price of the popcorn is too ridiculous to even consider!! I try to just rent movies now to avoid the high tickets costs the theatres are charging, plus our whole family gets to watch the movie for the same price of just a buck or 2 rental. People need to learn simple ways to save, for example http://bit.ly/EasySavingIdeas explains little ways to save every day on things we may not even realize we're wasting on. Very good information. The site has some fun free games the kids like too!
