"Brian Gettlemen used a GPS dating application on his cell phone when he was buying a cup of coffee," Golodryga reports, "Turns out Aisha Ballie was using the same application and saw his profile." Aisha invited Brian to come visit her where she worked, two floors below his office. Two years later, the couple is happily engaged. "One of the safety features that we've built in is that no one can ever figure out exactly where you are," explains Skout.com founder Christian Wiklund.

The man was not going for quality or even quantity, but merely how long it would take him to walk to her place. Really, this is a depressing comment about "modern love."

First of all, they've been together for two years, which is well beyond the "just a piece of ass" time period. Second, he was probably really flattered that a gorgeous girl (I'm assuming he could see her profile too when she pinged him) thought he was cute and decided to seize the opportunity to meet her. I don't know a single guy who doesn't like it when a cute girl makes the first move. Third, just because technology took a hand in their meeting doesn't make it any less of a love story. So come on, depressing lil-girl: grab a Prozac, a glass of water, and toast to the couple's happiness.

September 03 2010 at 3:16 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyOnline dating has progressed far beyond the sites that inspired movies like 'You've Got Mail.' 'Good Morning America' correspondent Bianna Golodryga chronicles the latest matchmaking trend: GPS dating. "Now, say a growing number of singles, those once-modern sites are so last century," reports Golodryga. The technology designed to give us directions is now being used to direct singles to their potential soul mates.btw,I'm a lawyer,30 ,rich but still single. It's hard to get a girlfriend in my town ,most of them like my money more than like me.I just want to find my true love.so i uploaded my hot photos on millionairesocial .c om under the name of hotlove2.u dont have to be a millionaire, but u can meet one there. ..if you girls see this comment,i hope you will check my photos out there.maybe you are the one whom i'm looking for!!!
