Officials in Vancouver, Canada are testing out an innovative new method for getting drivers to slow down at a crosswalk. 'Morning Express' host Robin Meade explains that, "It looks like a little girl is in the middle of the street! It is an illusion designed to get people to slow down!" Footage taken from a moving car shows the phenomenon, created by an image on the street, that looks 3-D from afar, but as drivers approach they can see that it's clearly flat.

The optical illusion will be in place for a week as traffic authorities test out its effectiveness. As the footage shows the effect again in slow motion, Meade says, "Keep going, I want to see this. It's just kinda flattened out, almost like it's painted on the roadway. Wow! Isn't that something?"
