Ever wonder how your teenager drives when you're not in the car? 'Today' correspondent Kate Snow reports on just how well teen drivers handle distractions. "We partnered with a company called Drive Cam. They put cameras in cars of novice drivers for the first year that they're out there. The kids know the cameras are there, but look what happens anyway," Snow explains, as 'Today' rolls footage of teen drivers getting in accidents as the talk, text, and put on makeup behind the wheel.
One teenage girl is show putting on lipstick on the highway as she drifts into another lane, over-corrects, and spins out of control in traffic. Another teen changes tracks on his iPod when he misses a stop sign and gets t-boned. Others are shown getting to accidents as they talk and drive. Fortunately, none of the teens featured on the video were injured.
