Kelly gets a response from the Wall Street Journal's photo director after stating on yesterday's 'Live' that she doesn't read the WSJ because it doesn't have pictures. "Mark asked me if I read the Wall Street Journal and I said 'Certainly not, I only read newspapers with pictures in them," Kelly explains to co-host Jerry O'Connell. Holding a stack of papers, Kelly reads a message from the WSJ's photo director Jack Van Antwerp: "Kelly, I was saddened to hear you thought we didn't exist." Then Kelly holds up the newspaper, providing evidence that, indeed, it does contain photos.
"Jack, what I wanted to say was, and I must have misspoken, I really only, um, look at newspapers with pictures of me in them," Kelly apologizes. Doing his best impression of a stuffy businessman, O'Connell jokes, "I thought to read the Wall Street Journal you had to wear a monocle."
