Regis has a surprise in store for 'DWTS' judge Carrie Ann Inaba on this morning's 'Live.' Regis starts out by reading a piece of fan mail, "Regis I need your help, I love my girlfriend and I want to propose but I'm not sure how to ask her." Ever the romantic, Regis instructs that, first, you've "Gotta dim the lights." All of the sudden, the studio's bright spotlights give way to mood lighting. "Then, it would help if you had a little romantic music playing because usually they love that," Regis says. Violinists enter the stage as Regis explains that, last but not least, you need the ring.

The crowd goes wild as Carrie's boyfriend appears from backstage and proceeds to propose to her on one knee. Carrie bursts into tears. "Wow!" Regis exclaims when he sees the ring. "Yes, I will marry you!" Carrie announces as the audience cheers.
