In this clip, parents are outraged over a new swimwear trend that has retailers marketing string bikinis to infants and toddlers. 'Good Morning America' correspondent Lindsey Davis chronicles the firestorm of controversy over the "babykini" trend. "It wasn't all that long ago that even a swimsuit like this was considered racy," Davis narrates. "Bathing suits have evolved over time, seemingly getting smaller and smaller, targeting younger and younger." A photo of a bikini-clad toddler appears onscreen as Davis explains, "Now it's not just the suits that are itsy-bitsy and teeny weeny, it's who's inside them."

"Some say this two-piece is both too little and too much," Davis reports as she explains that some argue the side-ties are easier for potty training kids. Online commentators are having a field day, with one writing, "Sexualizing children -- intentionally or not -- is a crime. These clothing companies have lost their minds."
